Thursday, November 16:

Pancakes & Booze Art Show at Hook Hall

  • Meet some of the nation's best emerging artists while enjoying all-you-can-eat pancakes from 7 p.m. until midnight. 
  • The event will feature live body painting and live music.
  • Tickets are $10 per person pre-sale, $15 per person the week of the show, and $20 the day of the show, so go ahead and get them early!

Comedy/Storytelling Open Mic for Causes in Need at BloomBars

  • Grassroots Comedy members will take the stage beginning at 7:30 p.m. for a stand-up show geared toward making the world a better place.
  • Tickets are donation-based.
  • Officials say BloomBars is an alcohol-free establishment, but your ticket will get you discounted drinks at Buddy's DC.

Films for Movie Lovers Series: "Wall-E" and Smores, parking lot behind 5151 Wisconsin Avenue, NW

  • The new, free outdoor film series in Northwest will take place Thursday evenings in the fall. 
  • Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to sit on (as the surface is asphalt). 
  • Movies will start at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, November 17:

LGBTQ+ Speed Friending at Puro Gusto 

  • Head to the Northwest café for a night of meeting new people and making new friends. 
  • The event is free to attend.
  • Whether you're new to D.C. or just looking to make more friends in the community, everyone is welcome.

Music Bingo at The Coupe

  • Grab your friends and head to the Northwest restaurant for music bingo from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • It's free to play!

Saturday, November 18:

Harry Potter Trivia Brunch at City Tap House--Penn Quarter

  • Test your knowledge of the wizarding world with fellow fans while indulging in food and drinks.
  • Tickets to compete are free.
  • From sorting hat surprises to butterbeer delights, this event is a must-attend for any Potterhead.

17th Annual Capitol Hill Christmas Tree Lighting at Eastern Market

  • From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the annual tree lighting will take place at Eastern Market.
  • This year’s very special guest Masters of Ceremonies will be Kojo Nnamdi, host of The Politics Hour on WAMU and former host of The Kojo Nnamdi Show, and Tom Sherwood, resident Political Analyst at WAMU 88.5 FM Politics Hour.

Sunday, November 19:

The Record Market at Metrobar

  • Calling all record collectors! Head to the market at Metrobar from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. to shop until you drop.
  • Confirmed vendors include Bumrush45, Joe's Record Paradise, The Record Deal w/ Choclate City Rocks, Records & Raraties, Art Sound Language, Sonidos! Music & more.

The Sweet Spot Burlesque at the Howard Theatre

  • This burlesque/variety show kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Howard Theatre.
  • Performing in over 30 cities, the Sweet Spot offers its guests an immersive experience where anything can happen.
  • Tickets start at $20 per person for standing only.
