Here's what to do in Washington, D.C. this weekend if you want to have fun without breaking the bank.

WASHINGTON — November, the month of football, food comas, and friends-giving’s. Make this weekend count by taking part in one of our nine free and fun events happening around the District. 

Then on Sunday, don't forget to set your clocks back an hour for daylight savings!

Thursday, Nov. 2:

Dia de Los Muertos & Bachata Dancing at Wunder Garten, 1101 First Street NE

  • Join Wunder Garten for a night of dancing and culture as the venue celebrates the Mexican tradition of Dia de Los Muertos.
  • Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, instructors will guide you through the sultry steps of Bachata.
  • Little Miner Taco will be on-site serving up food.

Friday, Nov. 3:

Music Bingo at The Coupe, 3415 11th Street NW

  • Every Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., compete in music bingo at The Coupe in Northwest.

Movie Night at President Lincoln's Cottage, 140 Rock Creek Church Road NW

  • A free film screening of The Lego Movie will be held on the lawn of Lincoln's summer home on Friday.
  • Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic, sit back and enjoy the movie (no alcohol allowed).
  • STEAM activities and family crafts will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., ahead of the actual screening at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 4:

Spirits: A Hat Trick, 521 Rock Creek Church Road NW

  • The epic spooky variety show returns to Petworth Saturday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Tickets are $15 per person and includes a drink.
  • This performance is entirely outdoors so dress accordingly.

Adams Morgan PorchFest

  • Fall PorchFest returns to Adams Morgan from 12:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Stop by to celebrate local talent as artists take over the front stoops and porches of select neighborhood homes.

Sunday, Nov. 5:

Diwali Family Festival at the National Museum of Asian Art, 1050 Independence Avenue SW

  • Celebrate the festival of lights with NMAA on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Festival goers can expect various food vendors, crafts, activities, and musical performances.

Fall Student Pottery Sale at Eastern Market, 225 7th Street SE

  • The student sale is back and better than ever.
  • Get quality, affordable pottery made locally during the bi-annual Student Sale from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Girls Rock! DC Skate Party, 514 Rhode Island Avenue NE

  • Friends and family of all ages are welcome to skate with Girls Rock! DC at Kraken from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. in order to help raise funds. 
  • Ticket sales, which are $10, and $1 of all selected beverages will be donated to GR!DC.

Yoga and Sound Bath, 1302 Otis Place NW

  • This session includes a sound bath, instructor-led yoga class and a guided meditation. 
  • Tickets to both the yoga class and sound bath are $20 per person and $10 per person for just the sound bath.
