WASHINGTON β Tony-award winning singer and songwriter Idina Menzel is set to perform at this year's Capital Pride Concert in Washington, D.C.
Officials with the Capital Pride Alliance announced on Tuesday that Menzel will be joining other performing artists including:
- Hayley Kiyoko
- Rina Sawayama
- Monet X Change
- Debbie Gibson
- Shanice
- DC Tracy Young
- DJ TWiN
Menzel will be performing music from her upcoming album "Drama Queen," including the recently released first single "Move."
The Capital Pride Concert will be held June 11 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m., with festival festivities going until 10 p.m. Both the Capital Pride Concert and Festival continue to be free to the public, with tickets on sale for special access to the Concert Pit and the VIP Concert Experience.
Officials say the Capital Stage sits at the east end of the festival on Pennsylvania Avenue at 3rd Street, with the United States Capitol as the backdrop.
The Capital Pride Concert marks the end of the Pride Festival in D.C.
