WASHINGTON — It is a busy weekend ahead in the District. Not only is the Art All Night Festival returning and taking place in all eight wards, but there are a variety of cheap and free fall activities planned.

Thursday, Sept. 28:

Sweater Weather Clothing Swap & Game Night, 1011 K Street NW

  • Swap your old sweaters for some new favorites at this clothing exchange from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Moxy Washington.
  • Any items left behind will be donated to a local nonprofit.
  • Ticket price is a donation of your choosing.

Dish! The Storytelling Dinner Show, 713 8th Street SE

  • Crazy Aunt Helen's is holding another storytelling dinner from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday.
  • Tickets are $15 per person for reserved seating.
  • Get ready to hear from some of the area's top performers and to tell your own story onstage if asked.

Friday, Sept. 29:

World Culture Festival, National Mall

  • Folks from around the globe are coming together to share their experiences and stories at this year's World Culture Festival on the National Mall.
  • This is D.C.'s fourth World Culture Festival, which is a three-day fall festival featuring music, art, food, dance, meditation and inspirational talks.
  • Tickets are free. 

The Work Sucks Comedy Show, 1306 G Street NW

  • Vent about your job with local comedians at the Work Sucks comedy show from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. 
  • Tickets are $10 per person.
  • Comics Kasha Patel (DC Improv), Daphne London (Kennedy Center), Ray Easter (Amazon Prime), and Phil Mike (HotBed) will take the stage Friday.

Saturday, Sept. 30:

The Saturday Night Showcase at Room 808, 808 Upshur Street NW

  • Head to the BYOB show from 8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. to hear from a variety of comedians.
  • Tickets are $10 per person for general admission.

  • The Coupe will hold a open mic night from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • The show is free.
  • Performers are asked to arrive at 7 p.m.

Music Bingo, 79 Potomac Avenue SE

  • If you're looking to make more friends in the LGBTQ+ community, then this is the event for you.
  • From noon until 1 p.m., head to As You Are bar for coffee and conversation.
