Thursday, Nov. 9: 

Trivia Night in Tenleytown at Guapo's 

  • Join Tenleytown Main Street, Orange Theory and quizmasters Robin and Matt for a pub-style trivia night at Guapo's Tenleytown from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
  • The winner of the music round will receive a gift card to Orange Theory Fitness Tenley. Trivia prizes also include a $25 Tenley Bucks gift card that can be redeemed at businesses around Tenleytown.

Friday, Nov. 10:

Live Band Karaoke at Metrobar

  • From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Metrobar invites you to be the lead singer of your own band. Head to the bar for live karaoke to fulfill your inner rock star.

Emo Night at Howl at the Moon, 900 7th Street NW

  • Dear Maria, can we count you in? Emo Night at Howl at the Moon returns on Friday kicking off at 11 p.m.
  • $10 cover at the door per person.

Saturday, Nov 11:

Diwali in the Park at Hardy Recreation Center

  • The 3rd annual Diwali In The Park will be held Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Hardy Recreation Center. 
  • The free festival will feature music, dancing/lessons, kids crafts, Indian finger foods and hot spiced chai.
  • Event will be held outdoors but at the covered pavilion.
  • Traditional South Asian attire is encouraged.

Rock the Core-Cider and Beer Festival at Hook Hall

  • A celebration of cider, beer, and great tunes will take place from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Northwest bar and venue space.
  • Tickets are $20 per person and includes all you can drink full pours of Bold Rock Cider & Hook Hall Lager, admission to 2.5 hours of unlimited sampling of 30+ ciders and beers, live music and entertainment, and local food.

Queers Can't Take A Joke at As You Are

  • Meet at the Southeast bar for students of Queers Can't Take A Joke's first stand up show.
  • Tickets are $10 per person. 
  • P.S. The comedy group is supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.

Absolute ABBA: A Disco Made in Sweden at Wunder Garten

  • Get ready to transport back in time for this disco night at the bar in Northeast from 8 p.m. until late.
  • Bring your friends, dress up in your best retro outfits, and get ready to dance the night away.

Sunday, Nov. 12:

Stand Up Comedy Class at MLK Memorial Library

  • Learn how to do stand up comedy in a safe environment, first timers and experienced comedians welcome.
  • Each performer will get to perform twice.
  • It's free to reserve your spot.
