WASHINGTON — A tractor-trailer crash is causing delays on Interstate 270 in Rockville, Md. Friday morning.
The incident was reported on southbound I-270 past Exit 1 for Maryland 187 between Old Georgetown Road and Interstate 495 at the split for Rockville Pike.
At this time, the right shoulder and right traffic lane on southbound I-270 are closed.
The cause of the crash remains unknown. There are no reported injuries at this time.
Crews are at the location investigating and working to clear up the crash scene.
Before this incident, there was traffic on northbound Interstate 95 just after Garrisonville Road in Stafford County, Virginia. All lanes have since reopened following a reported accident.
The crash has been cleared but there remains a few delays on I-95.
