WMATA extending Metro hours for Commanders preseason game against New England Patriots

Both Blue and Silver line trains from Downtown Largo and Morgan Blvd Stations will run after Sunday's midnight system closes.

GREATER LANDOVER, Md. — Good news, sports fans! Metro is extending late-night service for those attending the Washington Commanders versus the New England Patriots game on Sunday.

According to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), both a Blue and Silver train from Downtown Largo and Morgan Blvd Stations will run after Sunday's midnight system closes. 

The last train times at each station are as follows:

  • Morgan Boulevard train times: Blue 12:28 AM, Silver 12:35 AM
  • Downtown Largo train times: Blue 12:25 AM, Silver 12:32 AM

For those driving to the preseason game, the Commanders website has a map and breakdown of parking and directions, which they say has new information for the 2024 season.
