TRIANGLE, Va. — Drivers were experiencing delays on northbound Interstate 95 in Virginia due to a crash Friday morning.
The crash was located near Joplin Road in Triangle, Virginia. Although the scene has been mostly cleared it caused a miles-long backup on I-95.
SKY9 was at the scene and it appeared only one lane on the right shoulder was open to traffic. All lanes on the roadway have since reopened.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
It is also unknown if anyone was injured following the collision.
As of 7 a.m., crews were still at the scene working to clean the roadway before reopening lanes to drivers.
