SPRINGFIELD, Va. — Several lanes were blocked on northbound Interstate 95 after a box truck crashed near the Springfield Interchange, Virginia State Police said.
Left lanes were blocked and traffic was getting by the crash scene using one single lane on the right. This caused major delays in the area as crews work to clean up the scene.
As of 7:20 a.m., all lanes on the roadway have reopened.
Commuters driving in from Fredericksburg, Va. were expected to be backed up on the roadway for more than an hour.
At this time, it is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in this crash.
There were no reported injuries following the incident.
