Lanes reopen on I-395 Northbound near Arlington after crash

The crash happened near exit 8C / Pentagon City. Two people were taken to the hospital.

The crash as it appeared at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. All lanes closed on I-395 Northbound, near Pentagon City.

ARLINGTON, Va. — All lanes were back open and the traffic jam that extended a mile down I-395 in Arlington has cleared Saturday night. 

A crash at around 6 p.m. shut down all lanes on the northbound side of I-395 at around 6 p.m., near Pentagon City exit 8C.

Arlington County Fire Department said two people were taken to the hospital, one in "critical" condition. The other person's condition was described by Arlington Firefighters as "serious, non-life threatening," with firefighters posting a picture of a totaled sedan on their social media.
