BETHESDA, Md. — A crash closed part of the inner loop on the Capital Beltway on Tuesday, but lanes have since reopened.
The crash happened on the inner loop of I-495 just past Exit 34 at Rockville Pike, police say.
Two tractor trailers crashed. One of the drivers was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
One of the tractor trailers was leaking fuel, and Maryland State Police said dealing with that was going to be a "lengthy process."
All lanes of traffic were closed at the time with vehicles only able to move forward on the shoulder.
No other details on the crash have been released.
