JESSUP, Md. (WUSA9) -- A vehicle traveling the wrong way on the Baltimore Washington Parkway on Thursday morning struck another vehicle, which led to serious injuries and a traffic backup.
According to police, at approximately 4:14 a.m. on BW Parkway south of Rt. 175 a van traveling southbound in northbound lanes hit a sedan traveling northbound.
The driver of the sedan suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
