ROCKVILLE, Md. — All traffic lights are now functioning along Veirs Mills Road in Rockville after power was restored, Rockville City Police say.
Traffics lights were out early Wednesday evening during an outage. According to Rockville City Police, officers were at the intersections directing traffic while the lights were down, and Pepco was notified of the issue.
According to AAA, drivers should treat a non-functioning traffic light like a four-way stop when approaching an intersection. Unless you are being directed by a traffic controller, drivers should yield to any vehicle that was at the intersection first or on your right.
