MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Montgomery County Fire & Rescue (MCFRS) say nine people — including three children — were sent to an area hospital after a crash involving multiple cars on northbound I-270.
The crash happened at around 6:01 p.m. Friday.
Preliminary information released by MCFR says three cars, a passenger vehicle, an SUV, and a work van, were involved in the pileup. One of the adults was transported to the hospital as a trauma patient with non-critical injuries.
There is no word regarding what happened in the moments leading up to the crash at this time.
