Ravens unveil Ray Lewis statue

Thursday morning, the Baltimore Ravens unveiled a statue of former player Ray Lewis at M&T Bank Stadium.

BALTIMORE (WUSA9) -- Thursday morning, the Baltimore Ravens unveiled a statue of former player Ray Lewis at M&T Bank Stadium.

ID=15069343 Lewis was there for the unveiling of his statue at the north part of the stadium, also known as Unitas Plaza.

The sculpture shows Lewis mid-pre-game dance. It was created by sculptor Frederick Kail, who also assembled the statue of Baltimore Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas. The two statue will sit close to each other.

Lewis spent 17 years with the Ravens. He retired after the Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2012.
