Beach volleyball players April Ross and Kerri Walsh Jennings aren't just going for Olympic gold.
They're also sewing for gold.
The premiere American players designed their own bikini uniforms. Ross says it was her teammate's idea and thinks it's "so cool." Walsh Jennings says the women players get a lot of "flak" about their uniforms. But she adds the bikinis are "sport-appropriate and performance-enhancing."
Walsh Jennings has won three Olympic gold medals. She and Ross finish the preliminary round in Rio unbeaten with a victory yesterday over Switzerland.
