Here's who is representing DC, Maryland and Virginia at the Paris Paralympics

The U.S. is sending 225 athletes, along with five guides, to Paris.

WASHINGTON — As athletes from the DMV arrive in Paris, they’re ready to turn the city into their personal arena. With determination and heart, these local stars are set to compete in the Paralympics and aim for victory.

The Paralympics will run from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, featuring 225 U.S. athletes, including five guides.

Athletes will compete in 22 sports across various venues in the City of Lights, including the Eiffel Tower, the Chateau de Versailles, and the Grand Palais.
