Salute to the Military Night is an evening dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served the country in the armed forces.

WASHINGTON β€” The Capitals are getting ready to honor the men and women who have served the country in the armed forces with a special appreciation night.

The 22nd annual Salute to the Military Night kicks off at Capital One Arena on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

The Washington Capitals are set to take on the New Jersey Devils.

Tickets are all sold out.

Each year, the Capitals host the Standing USA Warriors Tournament presented by LiUNA! in partnership with the USA Warriors Ice Hockey program.

Team participants include veterans wounded or injured during combat who have joined the team for physical activity and to rekindle camaraderie with their fellow service members.
