WASHINGTON — The Oshie's are officially a party of five.
Capitals forward T.J. Oshie, and his wife Lauren, welcomed the couple’s first son into the world on Monday.
Campbell Richard Oshie was born on Monday according to an Instagram post by the Capitals player.
T.J. Oshie says in his post, “I finally got my golf partner for life yesterday!”
Both mother and Campbell are doing great says Oshie.
Normally that’s something that we take for granted. But with the coronavirus, hearing that mom and baby are doing well is definitely welcome news.
T.J. Oshie also finally isn’t outnumbered 3-1 in the Oshie household girl to boy ratio anymore.
T.J. and his wife have two daughters, Lyla and Leni, who are social media stars and favorites of the Capitals fanbase. Now the girls have a little baby “Bruvr.”
The Oshies aren’t the only Caps family that’s grown since the NHL suspended the season due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Nick Jensen and his wife, Jenner, welcomed Lorenzo Luck Jensen into the world.
Lorenzo, nicknamed Enzo, is the couple’s first child.
Jenner posted a photo of the happy family on her Instagram on Tuesday.
She also posted a video of Nick working out in the hospital room saying that he’s teaching their son that there are no days off.
There may be no days off, but the Caps won’t play in a game until May at the earliest based on current CDC recommendations.
While we do miss seeing the Capitals on the ice, the time off did come at a good time for the Oshies and Jensens as they welcomed new additions to their families.
