EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Washington Commanders are set to take on the Miami Dolphins in the team's second preseason game of 2024 , following a loss to the New York Jets in the preseason opener.
In his NFL debut, new quarterback and face of the franchise Jayden Daniels was impressive. He ran for a touchdown after throwing a perfectly placed deep pass for his first NFL completion to get Washington into New York territory in the Commanders' 20-17 loss.

Fans will have another chance to see Daniels perform at 7 p.m. on Aug. 17. You will once again be able to stream every snap online.
As the DMV's official television station of the Washington Commanders, WUSA9 will broadcast the team's first two preseason games, but you'll also be able to watch the games online if you live in the D.C. market.
WUSA9 Sports Director Chick Hernandez will call the game.
Coverage begins at 7 p.m. on WUSA9, WUSA9.com, and WUSA9+ for those in WUSA9's viewing area. You won't be able to livestream the game if you're outside of our market.
Please note that if you do not live in the D.C. area, or you have a VPN that hides or changes your IP address, you will not be able to watch online. We heard from a handful of you last weekend that you experienced technical issues with the stream.
