Commanders players, coaches and team executives will slide on custom cleats to join in the NFL's campaign celebrating a host of good causes deemed meaningful by participants.

Fans will be able to see the unique athletic shoes during the team’s Week 13 matchup with the New York Giants on Dec. 4 as a part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats campaign. Those participating created custom cleats and sneakers to raise awareness for initiatives and causes they are passionate about.

The team has also showcased an array of custom cleats, now on display in Legends Plaza and on suite levels throughout FedExField, which are open for bidding.

Bidding will close on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Click here for more information.

The NFL's annual campaign stretches across the league and players participate to raise awareness for charitable causes and movements by donning a unique pair of cleats.

"The My Cause, My Cleats campaign helps fans learn more about NFL players, the issues they stand for beyond football, and the work they are doing to support these causes, ultimately fostering a greater sense of connection with fans around a shared passion for social issues," the Commanders released in a statement.

The Commanders this season will be representing causes including cancer and disease awareness and prevention, gun violence prevention, animal justice and military support, among others.

The cleats that will be sported this season by the team were designed by renowned designer Joe Castro of Undefined Arts in Los Angeles and a collaboration of local artists, including DMV area natives and long-time fans David Zambrano from Dez Customs and Mohammed Gafar from Kreativecustomkicks, according to the Commanders.
