Super Bowl performers: Here's every artist on the field for the big game

The Super Bowl lineup is packed, with Reba, Usher, Tiësto and more.

LAS VEGAS — The  2024 Super Bowl is a showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas. But Super Bowl Sunday is never just about the game. High-profile musical performances have become a huge part of the big game festivities and Super Bowl LVIII is no different. Here's every musical performer expected to take the field on Sunday, Feb. 11 on CBS.

Reba McEntire:

Reba McEntire will take the stage to sing the national anthem. McEntire, a three-time Grammy winner, has become a country music icon with more than 30 studio albums that includes a variety of hits such as “Fancy,” “Consider Me Gone” and “Does He Love You.” The highly decorated performer was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2011 and received a Kennedy Center honor in 2018. She starred in the Broadway musical “Annie Get Your Gun” and earned a Golden Globe nomination for her lead role on television series “Reba.” She also released her latest album “ Not That Fancy ” and new book last year.

Post Malone:

Post Malone will sing "America the Beautiful" at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Malone, a 10-time Grammy nominee, has recorded multiple hits including “Congratulations” with Quavo, “rockstar” with 21 Savage and “Sunflower” featuring Swae Lee from the 2018 animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." The singer-rapper-songwriter released his fifth studio album “Austin” last year.

Andra Day:

Andra Day will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" at the Super Bowl this year. Day three-time Grammy nominee and Golden Globe winner.

"Lift Every Voice and Sing" is a hymn with lyrics written by James Weldon Johnson. The hymn is also known as "The Black National Anthem."

According to the NAACP, where Johnson served as executive secretary at the time the hymn was written, the song was "prominently used as a rallying cry during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s."

Usher:

R&B icon Usher will headline the Apple Music Halftime Show this year, performing for more than 100 million viewers during one of the most-watched television events of the year.

The halftime show itself is one of the biggest musical events in the world, with about 1 out of every 3 Americans tuning in.

Usher will be performing in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his debut, self-titled album in 1994. "Usher" put the singer on the charts with hits like "You Make Me Wanna..." and "Pop Ya Collar."

Apple Music, the largest sponsor for the event, hinted in a teaser trailer that some other famous faces could be joining Usher on stage, including LeBron James, Colombian rapper J Balvin and K-pop singer Jungkook.

Usher has quite the large shoes to fill, with Rihanna's 2023 show setting a new record for the most-watched performance in the event's history with 121 million viewers.

He will then stay as the in-game DJ and play during featured breaks within the game, becoming the first superstar DJ to perform throughout the Super Bowl. Portions of the performance will be featured on the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast on CBS and live streamed on the artist's social channels.

Sign Language Interpreters

Actor Daniel Durant will perform the national anthem in American sign language. He'll follow his “CODA” film castmate and Oscar winner Troy Kotsur, who took on the role last year.

Model-dancer Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be signed by actor-dancer Shaheem Sanchez.
