Report: Buffalo NFL game could be played at FedEx Field

The Buffalo Bills game could be moved to FedEx Field on Monday night.
Ralph Wilson Stadium is under four feet of snow.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- As it becomes increasingly likely the Buffalo Bills will be unable to play their home game this week due to a blizzard that has dumped more than 6 feet of snow, the league is considering moving the game to Washington, according to reports.

The Bills are scheduled to play the New York Jets at 1 p.m. Sunday, but the region is covered with snow, and officials have said they are unlikely to allocate resources and emergency personnel to a football game while still in a state of emergency.

League officials are currently deciding between Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Washington as potential sites to host the game on Monday night, according to ESPN.

The league has until Friday to make a decision.

The Bill's stadium is under 4-plus feet of snow, with more than 2 additional feet expected. The team has offered anyone who can get to the stadium $10 per hour and tickets to the game if they help the franchise remove the snow.
