First-place Ravens impress on both sides of ball

It appears the Ravens can now rely on either the offense or the defense to win a game.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - One week after the Baltimore Ravens' offense put up 38 points in the first half at Tampa Bay, the defense took a shutout deep into the fourth quarter against Atlanta.

It appears the Ravens can now rely on either unit to win a game.

Baltimore ranks second in the AFC in scoring and have allowed fewer points than any team in the league.

Special teams have been solid, too - Justin Tucker is 14 for 14 in field goal tries inside 50 yards.

Playing well in all three phases of the game is more important to coach John Harbaugh than trying to figure which unit is playing the best.

Harbaugh says, "We're not going to say we want to be one thing or the other. We want to be everything."

The Ravens ( 5-2) play at Cincinnati on Sunday.
