COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Coming off a close loss to Michigan that allowed the Wolverines to become the first college football program in history to win 1,000 games, the Maryland Terrapins football program is looking ahead to a Saturday showdown against Rutgers. Both teams have a record of 6-5.
The Terps secured their spot in a bowl game with a win over Nebraska. It's the team's third bowl appearance in three years. Last year, Maryland won the Duke's Mayo Bowl and Coach Mike Locksley got doused in mayonnaise for his efforts.
