New limited-edition bobbleheads unveiled for 125th Army-Navy game

Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,024 to commemorate the year of the 125th meeting.

GREATER LANDOVER, Md. — Attention bobblehead fans! The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum have unveiled a pair of new, limited-edition bobbleheads to celebrate the 125th edition of the Army-Navy game. Known as America's Game, the action gets underway Saturday at Northwest Stadium.

The Win Counter Bobblehead lets fans change after each rivalry game and the 125th Meeting Bobblehead includes the special logo commemorating the milestone matchup.

Both bobbleheads feature Army’s mascot, Army Mule, and Navy’s Mascot, Bill the Goat, in flexing poses. The Win Counter Bobblehead features the mascots standing on the rivalry logo base that includes a built-in counter that fans can change after each rivalry game. The 125th Meeting Bobblehead features the mascots on a football field base with the 125th Meeting logo at midfield, “BLACK KNIGHTS” in one end zone, and “MIDSHIPMEN” in the other end zone.

Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,024 to commemorate the year of the 125th meeting. The bobbleheads are currently available exclusively through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in May, are $50 each for the 125th Meeting Bobblehead and $60 for the Win Counter Bobblehead, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

"We’re excited to unveil these very special Army vs. Navy Rivalry Bobbleheads ahead of tomorrow’s 125th meeting in Landover,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “No matter the records, the Army-Navy game is always one to watch during the college football season. Fans of ‘America’s Game’ will love this bobblehead!”

Regarded as one of the most enduring rivalries in college football, Army-Navy is traditionally the last NCAA Division I game played in the regular season.

Army and Navy first met on the football field on November 29, 1890. The teams have met annually all but five years since then, and in every season since 1930. The game had been held at several locations throughout its history but is primarily played in Philadelphia. Navy leads the all-time series, 62-55-7, but Army has won six of the last eight meetings, including two in a row.

The Black Knights won last year’s matchup, 17-11, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The game will kickoff at 3 p.m. Eastern Time here on WUSA9.
