WASHINGTON (WUSA9)--To say Washington Capitals fans are excited that their team is in the Stanley Cup Final would be an understatement.
According to ESPN, Tuesday night's attendance for the Nationals vs. Orioles game was 13,935.
The attendance to watch the Capitals play Game 2 on the jumbotron?
14,445!
Yea, I'd say they are excited.
More people showed up to see a game on a large screen, than to a live game that was right down the street.
But maybe the most amazing part about fans being at Capital One Arena in huge numbers is that you could say it was as if the Capitals were playing on the ice right in front of them.

Here's a reaction to when the Vegas Golden Knights took the ice at the beginning of the game.
The crowd yelled out loud boos as if the Knights could hear them, and I wouldn't be surprised if they actually could.
And here is the reaction to Capitals team captain Alex Ovechkin scoring his first goal in a Stanley Cup Final.
If this is the crowd when the Caps are on the road, I can only imagine how big it will be when the Washington team comes back home.
Let's Go Caps!
