MANASSAS, Va. — A car rammed into a Northern Virginia hair salon on Thursday afternoon during business hours, sending people to the hospital, according to Manassas City Police.
The crash happened at Key Commons shopping center at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, during business hours of a hair salon.
"Fortunately, there were only minor injuries requiring ambulance transport. There is no belief the driver was under the influence," Manassas City Police said on Thursday afternoon.
A lane leading into the shopping center had been blocked after the crash but has since been reopened.
Police did not say how many people were hurt in the crash, or give an update on the condition of the driver.
"There are a few minor injuries," Manassas P.D. said.
