The cities' mayors have made a parlay on Saturday's game to see who will come out victorious.

WASHINGTON — The Washington Spirit and the Orlando Pride are going cleat-to-cleat on Saturday.

The two will play for the National Women's Soccer League championship title at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City. The Spirit advanced to the final on a penalty shootout with a 1-1 draw against defending champions Gotham FC.

Now the cities' mayors have made a parlay on Saturday's game to see who will come out victorious.

On Wednesday, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to challenge Orlando's Mayor Buddy Dyer.

Mayor Bowser challenged Mayor Dyer, if the Spirit win the city will light up Lake Eola Park Fountain yellow, the Spirit's team color. If the Orlando Pride win, Mayor Bowser has agreed to light up the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge purple, the Orlando Pride's jersey color.
