FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA 9) -- According to coach Scott Vossler, it's still very early in the season.
Vossler said the 2014 Robinson Rams football team is still progressing.
"We've been having good practices and working hard," Vossler said. "But there is still a lot of work to do."
He said some returning players are quarterback Jack Rowlett and halfback Marcus Denham. Vossler said Denham had a big finish last season.
"The team is excited for the upcoming season," he said.
The team starts playing scrimmages next week on Aug. 15.
"We are excited to get out there and play some new teams," Vossler said.
Robinson's first game is at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 28 at Robert E. Lee High School.
