POTOMAC, Md. (WUSA9) -- Despite the rumors surrounding current Maryland football coach Randy Edsall and his job security, star Bullis QB and Maryland verbal commit Dwayne Haskins Jr. delivered a strong message on Thursday, reassuring his commitment to Maryland.
Throughout the interview, Haskins Jr. noted that he wants to be a part of Maryland for more reasons other than football.
Haskins Jr. also took to Twitter to share his feelings on being a future Terp.
The 6'3", 200 pound Haskins is ranked the sixth-best pro-style quarterback prospect in the country according to 247sports.
