ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Youssou Ndoye posted a double-double, scoring a career-best 28 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure to a 75-55 win over George Mason on Wednesday night.
Ndoye did it with 9 of 11 shooting from the field and 10 of 11 from the line. Marcus Posley added 22 points for the Bonnies (9-6, 2-2 Atlantic 10 Conference) and Andell Cumberbatch had 12. The team sank 41.8 percent from the field overall, made 23 of 30 from the line and outrebounded George Mason 41-28.
George Mason hit 38 percent from the field and made 15 of 18 from the line.
The Bonnies had a 38-22 advantage at the break and maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second period for the win.
Shevon Thompson led the Patriots (6-10, 1-3) with 18 points and four rebounds. Jalen Jenkins and Patrick Holloway scored nine apiece.
