WASHINGTON (WUSA9)--It's no secret that all of the D.C. teams are rooting for the Washington Capitals in the battle for the Stanley Cup.

That goes for former coaches like Redskins coach Joe Gibbs as well.

Gibbs was the head coach of the Washington Redskins from 1981-1992 and again in 2004-2007.

In 1996 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for being one of the winningest coaches in NFL history.

Gibbs took the Redskins to four Super Bowls in his time with the team and is responsible for three Super Bowl wins!
