WASHINGTON (WUSA9)-- Downtown D.C. was covered in a sea of red Saturday evening in preparation for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Saturday was the first time the Washington Capitals played against the Vegas Golden Knights at home in the Stanley Cup Final, and fans came out to let the team know they had their support.
Musical artists Sting and Shaggy got the crowd started with a free concert on the steps of the National Portrait Gallery, and even with a high chance of rain, there was a big crowd!
Even with a high chance of rain, Caps fan came out to cheer on the team!
