Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a double homicide in White Oak on January 28.
On Monday, The Montgomery County Police Department arrested Andy K. Panton, 20, and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Jordan Radway, 23, and Christian Roberts, 24.
Officials say Radway and Roberts were found shot to death in the 11600 block of Stewart Lane around 8:37 p.m. after a 911 caller told police the victims' car had struck multiple parked cars in the area before coming to a stop.
Authorities have already arrested two other men in connection with Roberts and Radway’s deaths. Dontaye Jamahl Hunt, 18, of Silver Spring was arrested on Jan. 30 and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Noah Foster Barnett, 18, of Silver Spring was arrested on Jan. 31 and charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Investigators later revealed that Barnett contacted Radway the day of the homicides to arrange a marijuana deal between Radway and Hunt. Radway agreed and contacted Roberts to obtain the drugs and Radway and Hunt were put in contact with one another, police said.
Later on that day, detectives said Hunt met with Radway and Roberts at the scene of the homicides. Minutes later, witnesses say they heard multiple gunshots and saw a car speeding away from the scene.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing at this time. Anyone with information should call police at 240-773-5030. Callers who want to remain anonymous should call 866-411-TIPS (8477).
