BALTIMORE — It's a tragic situation in Baltimore on Tuesday as first responders continue to search for survivors of a massive bridge collapse that has rocked the region.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore had a catastrophic collapse after a cargo ship apparently lost control and crashed into a support structure.
On the bridge when it collapsed were at least eight workers who were repairing potholes on the bridge. Two of those people were rescued, and one of them went to the hospital. What's unknown is how many cars were driving across the 1.6-mile bridge at the time of its collapse.
