Michael King Holloman is a native of Norfolk, VA and a first year graduate student in American University’s Political Communication program.
Throughout his tenure in the program, he seeks to explore how to use effective means of political communication to actively engage marginalized and disadvantaged communities in the political process.
Holloman states that the 2016 election means that “work must be done to ensure that politics is not looked at as outlandish entertainment by the American people.”
