MARYLAND, USA — As speculation grows about who might join Kamala Harris on the presidential ticket, one this is clear: Gov. Wes Moore will not be on it.
On Monday, Moore shot down the rumors, making it clear that while he supports Harris, he has no intention of running for vice president alongside her.
"I'm very, very comfortable with being the governor of the state of Maryland. I'm not interested in doing anything else," said Moore.
Moore emphasized his commitment to his duties as governor, stating that his focus remains firmly on Maryland.
Other possible vice presidential picks include the governor of Kentucky, governor of California, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
It's important to note, the vice presidential decision does not need to be made until the Democratic National Convention, which starts on August 19.
