Prince George's County police officer involved in early morning crash

The crash happened on Central Avenue and Addison Road in Seat Pleasant.

SEAT PLEASANT, Md. — A police officer was involved in a crash Thursday morning in Seat Pleasant.

The Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed that one of their officers was involved in a crash on Central Avenue and Addison Road just before 4 a.m.

Police did not release any further details, but when WUSA9 arrived on the scene, about 30 minutes later, a K9 cruiser was being towed away. They have not said how many people or if any K9s were involved in the crash.
