FAIRFAX, Va. — Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a bank in the Rose Hill area of Fairfax County on Thursday.
Fairfax County Police said they were called around 10 a.m. to a BB&T Bank located in the 5200 block of Franconia Road for the report of a robbery.
The suspect allegedly went into the bank, implied he had a gun and demanded money, according to police.
Police said the man walked out of the bank with the cash and no one was injured.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect. Police describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing an orange construction hat, a light colored face mask and gray clothing.
