SPRINGFIELD, Va. — Three people were shot to death late Saturday night in Springfield, Va., according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Shortly before midnight, police say officers found three people dead in the 8600 block of Cromwelll Drive.
The victims have been identified as Santos Vladimir Ralda, 45, and his wife, Floridalma Youlanda Perez Diaz, 40, both of Springfield and Nathanael Owen Cooper, 20, of Culloden, W.V.
After an investigation, police believe Ralda shot his wife and Cooper before shooting himself.
The three victims were attending an event at a private residence with at least 10 other people, according to police.
There were children inside the home at the time of the shooting, police said. The relation between the children and the victims is not known at this time.
