A plane carrying Amazon packages started smoking after it landed at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday night.
Atlas Air, the aircraft operator, said Flight 5Y3521landed normally and safely.
The left landing gear - specifically a brake - stayed engaged after landing and started smoking. They said the brakes and tires of the plane were replaced and officials expected it to be back in service on the next scheduled flight without delay.
The plane had a large Prime Air logo on it.
