SPRING, Texas - A massive parking lot brawl was caught on tape and now authorities are trying to identify those involved. It happened in an area where Harris County Precinct 4 Constables say crime is on the rise, on FM 1960 near the Hardy Toll Road.

In the violent cell phone video shot on December 7th, at approximately 7:00am, dozens of men and women brawl in a shopping center parking lot located on the 2600 block of FM 1960. Car windows are broken, punches fly and one man is dragged though a broken back windshield. After eight minutes of chaos it finally ends when gunshots are fired into the air.

"When we arrived on the scene everybody had already gone," said Cpt. Wolly Wieghat, with the Harris County Constables Office, Precinct 4. "It's amazing no one got seriously hurt in this thing. It really is."

According to Wieghat, his department is no stranger to this are.

"We believe that they're [brawlers] coming to and from that club. Some of the people that we had interviewed did definitely come from that club."

Weighat is referencing a club located in the shopping center, the club has no name listed on the outside and the windows are blacked out.

"I know it's an after-hours club," said one woman who works at a nearby business. "I think they're open from two in the morning until eight in the morning."

The woman only wants to be identified as "Amber", says she saw the mess left behind from the brawl the following day.

"I did see that there were a lot of broken beer bottles, a lot of debris from something that happened."

Amber says that come dusk she fears for her safety.

"I would never be alone at night in this area. I think the afterhours club has a lot to do with it, that's just my personal opinion."

According to Captain Wieghat, constables have responded to disturbance calls, to that particular club more than 70 times in the past 2-years.

"We had such a degree of them, increasing degree of them, that were going to step up our patrol in the area and have some surveillance in the parking lot see if we can bring an end to it," Wieghat explained.

On top of increased surveillance and patrols, Wieghat says he's also trying to get in touch with whoever owns the club.

"It's going to take cooperation between the club owners and law-enforcement together to solve this problem. Pretty significant out there from what that video displayed," said Wieghat.

Precinct 4 is trying to identify those who took part in the brawl. Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call Harris County Precinct 4 at (281) 446-1196.
