HOUSTON – A former teacher pleaded guilty Wednesday to having an inappropriate relationship with a student after giving a lap dance to a 15-year-old back in February.
Felicia Smith, 42, was sentenced to three years of deferred adjudication.
Smith claims her students convinced her to perform the dance in late February. Witnesses said it took place in front of a room full of students.
Court documents reveal it lasted nearly four minutes and at one point, Smith was allegedly on her knees with her head between the student's legs. There was music playing and a video camera rolling.
The student told police he grabbed Smith's buttocks and that she said "I love you" when it was over.
Smith was a teacher at Stovall Middle School.
