A man and his friends are hoping the internet can reunite him with two plush toys he lost on the Metro this week.
Trent Sargent said his roommate, Brian, has autism and carries the toys with him.
“He was running to catch the train after work and they fell out of his backpack,” Sargent explained. “Then the train left and when he came back, they weren’t there.”
Sargent said the toy drop likely happened at the Rosslyn station. One is a small piplup plush (a Pokemon) and the other is a blue dolphin. Both Brian got while he was in Japan, Sargent said.
He said he’s hopeful someone picked up the toys, or they’re stuck under the platform. Sargent said his friend Brian is taking the whole thing surprisingly well.
“He’s actually fine with it,” he said. “He says he would rather find them and give them to a special needs child who needs them more than him.”
If you have seen the plushies or know where they are, you can message Sargent on Reddit here.
