Police officials say 48-year-old Marc Scott Dawson of Windsor Mill has already been charged with multiple counts of visual surveillance with prurient intent and peeping tom for incidents at the Columbia Mall, Security Square Mall and a Home Depot.

Police were first contacted about a peeping tom incident earlier this month by a security guard at the Columbia Mall. The security guard told officers that a man repeatedly followed young men into the public restroom and made efforts to look at their genitals. Police officials say officers watch mall surveillance footage and saw the man enter the bathroom 31 times in a two-hour period. The man on the tape was later identified as Dawson.

A few days later, officers conducting surveillance on Dawson followed him into the Security Square Mall in Baltimore. Police say officers saw Dawson inside the restroom conducting the same behavior. They then tracked him to a Home Depot store in Catonsville, where they again saw him committing the same acts. One of the incidents involving a juvenile, according to police officials.

Police arrested Dawson on August 20th. He was released from the Howard County Detention Center on $15,000 bail. He faces charges in both Howard and Baltimore counties, say police.

Police ask anyone who may have seen Dawson or who has additional information to call them at 410-313-STOP. Callers can remain anonymous.
