WASHINGTON -- If you enjoy staring at the night sky without worrying about bugs, dirt and other outdoor elements, then urban "glamping" might be for you.
For $3,000, you can spend one night in a luxury, personalized "Glamping Globe" on the rooftop of The Watergate Hotel.
The glamping package includes access to a VIP table at Top of the Gate, with a moonlight round of cocktails -- two drinks are included from the Mediterranean-inspired menu.
The night is topped off with marshmallow roasting while your "Glamping Globe" is being prepared with a special turn-down service -- it includes eucalyptus essential oils.
You can also look through a telescope and name a star, complete with a Star Naming Certificate and "star gazing informative materials," the website said.
A sunrise breakfast is served on the roof, and a "secret service butler" is available all night.
And at the end of the glamping experience, a souvenir star map of the night's constellations is shipped to your home.
If you reserve the "Glamping Globe," you'll also have access to a top-floor in-house suite, allowing you to "utilize your room to refresh or take a break from the elements."
