ASHBURN, Va. — One lucky person is walking around with the golden ticket and doesn't even know it.
Someone purchased a Powerball ticket for Monday night's drawing and it's now worth $1 million. The ticket was purchased at the Harris Teeter located in the Ashbrook Commons Plaza.
The ticket was the only one in the country to match the first five numbers. No one matched all six numbers to win the $184 million jackpot, bringing Wednesday's Powerball drawing to $196 million.
The winning numbers for Monday's Powerball drawing were 5-35-45-60-63, and the Powerball number was 12.
The million-dollar winner from Monday's drawing has 180 days to claim the prize. The winner must sign the back of the lottery ticket to claim the prize.
Harris Teeter will also be awarded $10,000 from the Virginia Lottery for selling a winning ticket.
