FRANCONIA, Va. (WUSA9) — A 9-year-old boy has died after an accident at Franconia Elementary School.
Police said Wesley Lipicky and a teacher, both simultaneously pressed a button to open a large, motorized room partition that splits in the middle.
Lipicky suffered traumatic head injuries when he was caught between the partition and a wall; he was pronounced dead at the hospital last night.
Police said an autopsy found this to be an accidental death, and no charges are expected.
