HYBLA VALLEY, Va. — A teenager was injured in a stabbing Monday evening in Hybla Valley, sparking an investigation into what happened.
Officers with the Fairfax County Police Department responded just after 7:50 p.m. to Audubon Avenue, not far from the Walmart off of Richmond Highway, after a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival at the location, they found a juvenile teen suffering from injuries. The teen was taken to a local hospital in non-life threatening condition to be treated.
No additional details have been released about the victim in the stabbing case, this includes their age. In addition, no information has been released about a person of interest. The police department is working to determine what led up to the stabbing.
